Miami, FL. (4 de Diciembre de 2015) The Spanish singer is now preparing his encounter in Miami with his public, April 29, 2016, at the American Airlines Arena, which will open their doors to receive the Internationally acclaimed legend.
The 72 year old artist, which is currently on tour in countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Romania, Bulgary, Portugal, and Mexico, will bring his extensive repetoire of greatest hits, accompanied by an orquestra which will remind the public of memorable past times, with the ageless sound of his music.
Julio Iglesias, who recently launched his musical production, titled, “Mexico”, continues to be loyal to his fans, firm that he will not stop singing until “Life or his public” retire him, (in his words). Without a doubt, this reunion promises to be a night full of magical surprises, dedicated to all of the people that have been waiting patiently for his return, and for 12 years for a new album in his native language.
On April 29th, Mr. Iglesias is commited to giving his public what they have been waiting for, a night full of emotion and memories that only he can provide with his songs, with his more than 47 years of career and more than 300 million albums sold.
In Miami, the concert will include hit songs such as: Hey!, Quijote, La vida sigue igual, Starry Night, Abrázame & Crazy, and there will also be a tribute to Mexico, one of the first countries that opened their doors to his music in the 60’s.
Music, history & nostalgia, are some of the things that Julio Iglesias will share with his audience. Considered the most celebrated artist in Latin Music, he has interpreted songs in 14 languages, and launched more than 80 albums throughout his career.
The artist has also been the proud receiver of awards such as the Grammy, Latin Grammy, World Music Award, Billboard Award, among others. He was also awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts in Spain, Knight of the French Legion of Honor and two Guinness World Records. Recently he was celebrated as doctor of “Honoris Causa”, by the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, honorific title given to him for his influences and merits in Music, as well as his contribution to the development of Culture.
