Watch Behind The Scenes Video Footage Of Participants Providing Songwriting Tips & More

Los Angeles, CA, October 12, 2015 — Broadcast Music, Inc.®, (BMI®), the global leader in music rights management, once again partnered with Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. at the Gibson Brand Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA, to produce a song camp which combined up-and-coming singer-songwriters and established hit-makers. The unique camp provided a creative setting for songwriters to share songwriting tips, and enhance various techniques for cultivating the perfect song. The participating hit-making pairings included Horacio Palencia, Ximena Muñoz, Stefano Vieni, Sebastian Krys, Alicastro and Carlos Chairez of the band Kinky, among others.

Over the two-day song camp, songwriters worked together in various creative groupings and submerged themselves in the process of cross connecting various genres of music, including Latin pop, regional Mexican, dance, Latin Alternative, reggaeton, country and top 40, among others. These creative groupings included continuous rotations to encourage a fresh approach that added to the innovative energy of the sessions.

The event was capped off with a listening party where the songwriters performed 17 new songs written during the camp, some of which are currently with Univision for consideration in the hit showLa Banda, while others are being shopped via Warner/Chappell Music, Inc.’s Latin division for potential placement with some of today’s chart-topping Latin artists.
