Los Angeles, 5 de enero de 2016 - TELEMUNDO y NBC UNIVERSO presentan dos producciones especiales del intérprete de música regional mexicana Gerardo Ortíz. TELEMUNDO transmitió el debut televisivo de la película “Como un Sueño” (Like a Dream) el sábado 2 de enero a las at 9pm/8c y NBC UNIVERSO transmitió el estreno en exclusiva de la serie documental de cuatro episodios de una hora “Gerardo Ortiz: Sin Censura”, el pasado 3 de enero a las 10pm/9c la cual se transmitirá hasta el 24 de enero. Los fanáticos de Gerardo Ortíz tendrán acceso VIP a la vida del multi-galardonado cantante y compositor, que continúa conquistando al público alrededor del mundo con sus atrevidos corridos y baladas. “Como un Sueño” incluirá presentaciones poderosas en vivo de Gerardo Ortíz, filmadas en Estados Unidos y México, entrelazando videos caseros y entrevistas. Los fanáticos podrán disfrutar de los mayores éxitos de su ídolo: Quién se anima, El Cholo, Eres una niña, Dámaso, y a la vez descubrir el nacimiento de ‘El Hijo de Sinaloa’. Ortíz se remontará al pasado y compartirá recuerdos de su niñez, sus inicios humildes y cómo logro superar la trágica muerte de su primo Ramiro.
Los cuatro episodios de la serie “Gerardo Ortíz: Sin Censura” relatan la vida del artista debajo de los escenarios. Los fanáticos podrán darle un vistazo a su vida íntima, conocer a su equipo, a su familia y su historia. Sin Censura transportará a los fanáticos a Badiraguato, Sinaloa, el pueblo en el que Ortíz inició su carrera musical a la corta edad de ocho años. “Como un Sueño” features Gerardo Ortíz’s powerful live performances shot in the U.S. and México interweaving raw home video and candid interviews. Gerardo will go back in time sharing memorable childhood moments, his humble beginnings and the adversity of overcoming the tragic death of his cousin Ramiro.
The four episode series “Gerardo Ortíz: Sin Censura” chronicles the artist’s life off stage and gives fans an even more intimate look at his life, his crew, family and his story in his own words. Sin Censura will transport fans to Badiraguato, Sinaloa the town where Gerardo started his musical career at the young age of eight years old.
