We're proud to announce that Las Cafeteras will be headlining our Closing Night Screening & Concert. Las Cafeteras combine the vibrant energy of Son Jarocho music with an edgy LA sound & political message. They re-mix folk sounds combining Afro-Carribean marimba, hip hop, English and Spanglish, native flute & drums with Jarocho instruments like jarana & requinto guitars & donkey jaw-bone.

Straight from the underground of Monterrey Mexico. Niña Dioz is part of the new wave of Hip Hop movement in Mexico.

Second film from the up and coming mexican director Manolo Caro (No Se Si Cortarme Las Venas...) puts a stellar cast together including Marimar Vega, Sandra Echeveria and Sebastian Zurita for this laugh out lout comedy with a modern mexican humor.
The screening will conclude with a concert by LAS CAFETERAS and NIÑA DIOZ in the night lights of downtown from LA Plaza De Cultura Y Artes.

The story of singer Gloria Trevi makes an impressive first feature of director Christian Keller. The main actress Sofía Espinoza and director will be in attendance.
The after party will take place at the new Don Chente Bar-Grill & Lounge with a great food menu and tastings by Tequila Herradura and Mexican beer Montejo.
