ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT OF TICKETS SOLD BENEFITTED

Los Angeles, CA (November 9th, 2015) This past Saturday, November 7th, 2015, LA Dodgers First Baseman and PADRES CONTRA EL CÁNCER (PADRES) Ambassador, ADRIAN GONZALEZ hosted the 1st ANNUAL ‘BAT 4 HOPE’ CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME at Dodger Stadium. Over 2,000 individuals attendedSaturday’s game and one-hundred percent of tickets sold benefitted PADRES Contra El Cáncer, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.
Gonzalez was joined on the field by Actress, Producer, Director and PADRES National Spokesperson, EVA LONGORIA as well as: YANCEY ARIAS (Actor); ADRIAN BELLANI (Actor); DALLAS BRADEN (Former MLB Player); JOSE MORENO BROOKS (Actor); JENCARLOS CANELA (Actor/Singer); MATT CEDEÑO(Actor); BETO CUEVAS (Musician); NOMAR GARCIAPARRA (Former MLB Player/SportsNet LA Analyst);CONSTANCE MARIE (Actor); AMAURY NOLASCO (Actor); JOC PEDERSON (LA Dodgers); SANDRA PEÑA (Radio Personality); KEVEN RAMIREZ (Radio Personality); BLAIR REDFORD (Actor); ADAM RODRIGUEZ (Actor); CASSIE SCERBO (Actor); TABOO (Member of the Black Eyed Peas); JUSTIN TURNER (LA Dodgers); and BRIAN WILSON (MLB Player).
The 1st Annual ‘Bat 4 HOPE’ Celebrity Softball Game was kicked-off by the children of the organization who threw out the first pitch to Gonzalez, Pederson and Amaury Nolasco. Singer and actress on NBC’s Telenovela,JADYN DOUGLAS then sang the National Anthem to fans, families and supporters. The game also included: a life-saving bone marrow drive; photo opportunities with PADRES National Spokesperson for the Latino Market, BETO CUEVAS and TV Personality ROSIE RIVERA; a silent auction; and an award ceremony for game MVP, which was awarded to Nomar Garciaparra.
‘Bat 4 HOPE’ Game sponsors included: American Airlines, Los Angeles Dodgers, Mega 96.3 and Los Angeles AM 570 Sports Radio.
