Los Angeles, CA (July 20, 2015) – The LA Story Art Exhibit sponsored by El Jimador Tequila, opened on Friday, July 17th with a private reception and silent auction with proceeds benefitting Plaza de la Raza, a cultural center for the arts and education. In attendance were co-hosts Lala Romero and Compton Dave, MC Panchoand special guest Enrique Castillo. The exhibit, curated by famed photographer Pep Williams, features over 40 local artists displaying their Lowrider-themed artwork and runs through July 26th.
Exodus Events is committed to giving back to the community and is dedicated to bringing awareness to the arts through their partnerships with key organizations that pride themselves on building a stronger community by providing resources that support the visual and performing arts. “Exodus Events has a history of partnering with such organizations as El Buen Pastor Project, Las Fotos Project and Plaza de la Raza on past events and will continue to seek out art-related non-profit organizations to partner with on all future events,” said Antonio Pelayo, Exodus Events Founder/CEO.
LA Story is a multi-cultural event dedicated to celebrating the culture and lifestyle of the classic Lowrider, featuring the most influential custom car ever built, the Gypsy Rose. Legendary Latin R&B band, Tierra will be rocking the main stage while El Jimador Tequila serves up some of their finest signature cocktails. LA Story will take place onJuly 25th, 2015 at Plaza de la Raza and is sponsored by Lowrider Magazine, The Petersen Automotive Museum, El Jimador, Vallarta Supermarkets, Latin Heat Entertainment and I Love Micheladas.
LA Story is a 21 years old and over event. General admission tickets are on sale now for $25 online and will be available for $30 at the door.
