78th Annual East LA Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival

The 78th Annual East LA Mexican Independence Day Parade and Festival is set for September 15, 2024.
 
The longest-running and largest parade of its kind in this country will take place in East Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. At the same time, the organizing committee, the Mexican Patriotic Civic Committee Inc., will celebrate its 93rd anniversary in the city of Los Angeles.
                              
In its 92 years of existence, the Los Angeles Mexican Civic Patriotic Committee's main event for 78 years has been the Mexican Independence Day Parade and Festival in East Los Angeles. This parade is already considered a symbol of unity and joy among the community, attended by thousands of participants, exceeding attendance expectations every year.
 
Since its establishment in 1931, the Los Angeles Mexican Civic Patriotic Committee has become a pillar of the Mexican-American community in Los Angeles. The traditional live broadcast of the parade will occur from 10:00 a.m. to noon on ABC 7, a major television network in the country.
