REYNALDO PACHECO RECEIVES MASSIVE CRITICAL ACCLAIM FOR HIS BREAKTHROUGH SUPPORTING ROLE IN “OUR BRAND IS CRISIS” STARRING SANDRA BULLOCK AND PRODUCED BY GEORGE CLOONEY AND GRANT HESLOV

Reynaldo Pacheco makes his mark in Hollywood and captivates audiences with his heart wrenching breakthrough performance in the new Warner Bros. featured film “Our Brand Is Crisis” produced by the Academy Award winning team of “Argo”, George Clooney and Grant Heslov. Reynaldo stars opposite Oscar winners Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton. He plays Eddie Camacho, the innocent and naive political intern working with the campaign that Bullock’s character, “Calamity” Jane Bodine, has been hired to help turn around. The two characters forge an unlikely friendship in this satirical story that examines the extreme behind-the-scenes of the political process. The film had its acclaimed world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11th and opened nationwide on October 30th. Critics applaud Reynaldo’s emotionally riveting performance. Jack Rico of NBC News said that Reynaldo shines and “…is the beating heart in 'Our Brand Is Crisis'”. Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, and director David Gordon Green praised Reynaldo’s moving performance and outstanding work ethic in their interview with MoviesOnline.ca.

 

Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia, Reynaldo began performing on the colonial streets of Bolivia and later moved to the United States to continue his education. He graduated with an undergraduate degree from Wabash College in Indiana and received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California. Some of his other credits include a guest starring role in “CSI: NY” and a lead role in “Without Men”, opposite Eva Longoria and Kate del Castillo. He also had supporting roles in “The Man Who Shook the Hand of Vicente Fernandez” opposite the legendary Academy Award winner Ernest Borgnine, and “Beginners”, opposite Ewan McGregor and Christopher Plummer in Plummer’s Academy Award winning performance.

 

Reynaldo is also a passionate humanitarian and advocate for educational rights and awareness. He is the founder of the Hollywood Academy of Performing Arts in South America and the United States, a prestigious online acting program dedicated to advancing students’ knowledge in acting and performance art through the teachings of accomplished instructors. HAPA has allowed students to be educated by and audition with respected casting directors and television networks worldwide. Reynaldo also co-founded and serves as the ambassador for Changing Stories, an international nonprofit production company that aims to educate and share the struggles of third world countries.

 

Reynaldo is receiving an overwhelming amount of praise and admiration from audiences following the release of “Our Brand Is Crisis”. SceneCreek.com named him one of the fifteen breakout stars of the Toronto International Film Festival. His astonishing performance in the film makes him a deserving candidate to look out for this award season. “Our Brand Is Crisis” gives audiences the opportunity to witness a star making performance from Reynaldo Pacheco. Also an up and coming breakout recording artist, Reynaldo will be releasing his debut single and music video for his self-produced record, “The Fall”, at the end of November.
