LOS ANGELES, CA (Wednesday February 25th, 2015) - Corpus Christi’s electronic music producer and DJ, EL DUSTY, has officially unveiledTRAPANERA, a collaboration with 3BallMTY’s Erick Rincon. This track gives EDM fans a taste of the new sound wave called Electronic Cumbia, a sub-genre created EL DUSTY himself.
Originating in the south, TRAPANERA’s sound, mixes a series of traditional Latin folk with Electronic Dance Music, where the instrumentals are propelled by 808 kicks and heavy extended sub-bass lines, layered synths and “Cinematic” strings. A sound that will awaken your senses and will continue to make you move.
Dusty comments: “Trapanera is all of my styles in one. The rap and trap rhythms, a dope old school sample chopped up and sequenced from an MPC perspective, my boy Erick steps in with a wicked 3ball hook, and the cumbia ties it all together."
Look out for the video to TRAPANERA to be released on VEVO on March 10th and he will soon be performing on various stages at SXSW, including the Official Spotify SXSW Party on March 16th. Besides that, he is focused on collaborating, producing, releasing new music and content as part of this new venture.
