Announces Honorees of the 12th Annual Latinas in Business Awards, celebrating “Women of Excellence”.
The Awards showcase women’s excellence in business and leadership in the community.
LOS ANGELES - JUNE 15 2015 -- The National Latina Business Women Association, Los Angeles Chapter (NLBWA-LA) today announced its honorees of the 2015 Latinas in Business Awards honoring “Women of Excellence.” The event takes place Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Egyptian Theater located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028.
This year’s honorees include: Patty Juarez, Wells Fargo Bank, Corporate Leader of the Year; Anna Sauceda, ACS Group, Entrepreneur of the Year; and Priscilla Lizarraga, TELACU, Inspirational Leader of the Year. The evening’s emcee this year is Gabriela Tessier, host of Univision’s morning show “Primera Edicion.”
“Our organization is proud to promote the rapid growth of Latinas in business, which is a tremendous growth market. Through our Awards we acknowledge successful women that make a difference in their business and community,” said Rose E. Sauceda, President, NLBWA-LA.
The honorees are women who embody the Association’s mission of encouraging and developing business and community leaders through education and networking opportunities. The 2015 Latinas in Business Award honorees have demonstrated and proven their commitment, dedication and determination to the Latino community.
“Year after year, I am inspired by the amazing success stories of my fellow Latina entrepreneurs,” commented Veronica Corona, Immediate Past President, NLBWA-LA. “ Their stories encourage me to continue following my passion into entrepreneurship.”
Additional awards will be presented at this year’s ceremony in the following categories: Legacy Award; Business Women Award; Trailblazer Award; Community Advocate; Emerging Latina/Rising Star Award.
