Photo Compositing Magic with Stephen Burns
Stephen will share how to approach image creation from a painter’s point of view, in that you are not limited to the single image. The goal is to create from your heart. This seminar is designed to get you in the habit of applying possibilities that extend beyond the obvious approach to image creation. The presentation will go beyond tips and tricks or simple workflows designed to showcase the capability of the software. DSLR Video For Photographers in Photoshop CC with Colin Smith
This session is a photographer’s crash course in video and motion graphics in Photoshop CC. He will begin this session with the exact settings you need on your camera to capture beautiful video. In a few short minutes, get the tips that will tell you how to frame your shot and move your camera. Using photographer’s vocabulary, you’ll learn how to edit HDSLR footage and create a stunning short film with effortless ease. Create customized slideshows, complete with music and title graphics. This is stuff you can use in your photography business and Colin makes it so simple to understand.
The Business of Sports Photography with Dave Stock and Peter Read Miller
The challenge for any of us is figuring out how to make money doing what we love to do. Peter Read Miller and Dave Stock have done just that: Peter as a long time staff photographer for Sports Illustrated magazine and Dave as the owner of a successful business that provides team and individual sports portraits of young athletes participating in school and league sports programs. They will take you behind the scenes, revealing keys to success in the sports photography field. This session will have something for everyone, from seasoned pros to new photographers just getting started with time reserved for questions from the audience.
Introduction to Studio Lighting with Glynn Lavender
Direct from Australia, Glynn Lavender, owner of premier Australian training company Creative Photo Workshops, will present a dynamic, fun-filled session that will help guide you to better studio portraits. Multiple lighting set-ups starting from one light and then building up the image by adding additional lights will be demonstrated. Topics will include: what equipment is essential, how to solve basic lighting problems, best camera settings for studio shooting, how to build an image with light, different methods for lighting a face, using soft boxes and accessories for different lighting effects, getting your exposure correct easily, sculpting with shadows, working with models, posing, and much more.
