Yuri Shimoda Named Editor-in-Chief of Living Out Loud LA
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 4, 2014) - Marvin Vasquez, Living Out Loud LA's publisher and chief executive officer named Yuri Shimoda editor-in-chief of Living Out Loud LA, effective today.

About Yuri Shimoda
After graduating from USC's Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, Yuri started a music website with a group of friends that led to a job in street marketing for music, sports, gaming, fashion and other lifestyle brands. Throughout that time, she continued writing features and reviews for publications like Campus Circle Newspaper, where she spent eight years in marketing, design and editorial, culminating in tenures as managing editor and editor-in-chief. Yuri has been a contributor to Living Out Loud LA since its inception, while also running a site, Jigsaw Magazine, that focuses on music, film and other artists' favorite places in Los Angeles, which she is planning to turn into a hardcover alternative guide to the city.
