Las Chorizeras is an all-female ensemble founded by singer-songwriter Nancy Sanchez. The group presents Nancy's original songs as well as select songs from the American and Mexican songbooks in a fresh, new Regional Alternative and Regional Mexican style. They incorporate traditional mariachi instruments such as the guitarron, the vihuela, and the violin into a mariachi fusion style.

Las Chorizeras have been wowing audiences with their live performances, and they gained widespread acclaim when their song "Dispuesto A Amar" was featured in the popular Netflix series, The Lincoln Lawyer. As a result, Las Chorizeras decided to enter the studio to record their self-titled debut album.
